Cancellation & Refunds

Last updated 17 September 2026. When a donation can be cancelled or returned, and how to ask.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any point before you pay: close the Razorpay window. Nothing is charged, and no donation is made.

Refunds

Donations are non-refundable, except when something went wrong:

  • you were charged twice for one donation
  • the wrong amount was taken
  • the payment was made without your permission

How to ask

Email info@alwafa.org.in within 7 days of the payment. Include your donation reference. It starts with ALW- and appeared on screen when your payment went through.

What happens next

We reply with our decision within 5 working days.

If we agree, the full amount goes back to the card, UPI or bank account you paid from, usually within 5–7 working days. The trust pays Razorpay’s fee, so every rupee comes back to you.
